That’s how I feel about the chocolate muffin recipe that I have been meaning to post for you. I put a couple teaser pics up a week or so ago before actually trying them myself, and while they looked amazing, that first set of muffins was just ho-hum. So I pretended I was actually a baker and completely overhauled the recipe to try to make it more moist, more chocolately, more delicious. At first I was thrilled with my new recipe, but then, as I kept eating them, I realized that it still isn’t quite right. My hubby agreed, and I think he pinned the problem: they’re too flour-y. So… back to the drawing board.
In the meantime, there are plenty of other dessert recipes coming your way to keep you entertained for a while.
AND… better yet, I got permission from Cook’s Illustrated to post 2 recipes a month, which means you WILL see my famous pie crust recipe that I had told you is copyrighted.

They look so great… and with all this baking and eating… how do you maintain that slim figure Miss Paula? Please share your secret to slim!
