I made this syrup with frozen strawberries to drizzle on a very plain New York Style Cheesecake I took to a party this afternoon. The guests loved it and the host asked if he could keep the leftovers. The syrup is very easy to make and as a previous reviewer pointed out, I imagine it could be poured on so many different foods to perk up the flavor.

This is so pretty. I love how fast it comes together, too. It would be a great rescue for any berries that start to die in my fridge. (Not that I ever buy too many berries when they are on sale. Nope.)
