The Cook’s Illustrated says to preheat oven to 425 rather than 500. Do I bump temp. down when I put mixture in oven or leave at 425?

Thanks for sharing!

I think the Boy Scouts will be having a VERY GOOD breakfast on the upcoming camping trip!!! Although he will have to practice in the backyard before – Whoa is me!!! (-;

For that reason, I’d use your favorite gluten free “flour” or pancake mix in place of the flour and then just proceed with the recipe as stated. :)

I have to eat gluten free, and I have a pancake mix that is simple to put together – I’m wondering if I can just pour that over the apples.
